Effective removal and separation of floating contamination
Cost-saving treatment of ground water
Operated remotely in oil caverns and reservoirs
Underground oil caverns are facilities where oil is stored until it is ready to be transported to a refinery or to market. A huge quantity of water is used for construction, maintenance and safety purposes. This water, along with the surrounding rock, is being constantly contaminated with oil-derived pollutants.
SCO 8000 and SCO 1000 are used to collect and recover floating hydrocarbons in oil caverns. Both units operate continuously, with low energy consumption. 100% of the recovered oil can go back to the storage or be reused.
