A proven, high-capacity oil skimmer separator hybrid for industrial wastewater treatment.
A proven, high-capacity oil skimmer separator hybrid for industrial wastewater treatment.
Automatic removal and separation of oil from water surfaces
Continuous, automatic operation 24/7, over long periods of time
Recovers 100% of the oil with a water content of less than 0.5%
Separation capacity 8,000 liters of oil per hour
Energy-efficient operations with low maintenance, enabling substantial cost savings
ATEX/EX-certified for Zone 0.
The SurfCleaner technology is based on gravimetric oil/water separation, collecting both the carrier fluid and the top layer substance – allowing 100% separation of the oil, with a separation capacity of up to 8,000 liters oil per hour. Many refineries and industries use SurfCleaner skimmer separator hybrids in API separators – where they can help reducing VOC emissions with up to 95%.
SurfCleaner is advanced, yet ingeniously simple. The patented collection and separation process has been developed into a self-managing solution consisting of only two moving parts. The separated oil is discharged to an external storage tank. Disposal costs are minimized since the oil is up to 100% pure and recyclable. SurfCleaner has been developed through years of extensive research in close co-operation with customers. In addition to its impressive performance capabilities, it is durable and easily maintained.

CUSTOMER REFERENCE
Sonatrach refinery in Augusta on Sicily is one of the largest refineries in Italy. Augusta Refinery buys two SurfCleaner units to reduce VOC emissions. They use API basins to clean their oily wastewater from the plant and needed a solution to clean water containing contaminants
“SurfCleaners automatically adapt the inflow depending on the thickness of the oil – from light fractions to thick oil – SurfCleaners can work with every type of slop. We have been able to reduce our VOC emissions considerably, and we can re-refine the oil that is separated, a double goal achieved in terms of environmental sustainability.”
